Kristine is a dynamic educator with experience designing unique lessons for children, pre-service and in-service teachers, and administrators. A confident lecturer who creates excitement in her classroom.

She currently works as the Executive Director of the Mid East Suffolk Teachers Center and also serves as Regional Co-Chair of the Long Island Network of Teacher Centers. She has over 20 years of experience as a staff developer and administrator. Kristine’s experience with teacher leadership extends beyond her work with teacher centers, to updating the content of two Stony Brook University graduate courses in teacher leadership and facilitating those courses for teachers. As a former Eastern Suffolk BOCES administrator, who has worked extensively with many school district administrators, she has an intricate knowledge of leadership qualities and communication techniques. This background led Kristine to become Eastern Suffolk BOCES Administrator of the Year 2005-2006 demonstrating successful leadership, program management, excellent problem solving, and effective communication in her work. Her strengths include, but are not limited to, supervision of staff including mentoring, curriculum writing and mapping, professional development, designing presentations for a variety of audiences, budget preparation including grant compliance, procurement expertise, and shaping information to make it easier to understand.
